1 In defence of the two Sheikhs: Ahmed Bazmool & Muhammad al-anjari (May Allah preserve them) الدفاععنالشيخين:أحمدبازمولومحمدالعنجريحفظهماهللاتعالى Allah the Most High says: "Allah bears witness that La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and the angels, and those having knowledge (also give this witness)". The Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed the scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets". Allah the Most High says in a Hadith Qudsi: "Whoever shows hostility to a friend of mine, then I have declared war upon him". (Bukhari) Imaam Aboo Uthmaan as-saaboonee - may Allah have mercy upon him - said: "And one of the distinguishing signs of Ahlus-Sunnah is their love for the Imaams of the Sunnah, its Scholars, its helpers, and its close allies,...allaah, the Sublime, has adorned the hearts of Ahlus-Sunnah, and the light of their hearts with love for the Scholars of the Sunnah, as a bounty from Him, Whose Magnificence is perfect and Sublime." 2 Imam as-saboonee also said regarding the people of innovation: "Their most apparent sign and trait is their intense enmity and hatred for the."ﷺ carriers of the ahadeeth of the Prophet [Aqeedatus-Salaf wa Ashaabul-Hadeeh of Aboo Uthman as-saaboonee] Imam Muqbil al-wadiee - may Allah have mercy on him said: "defending the scholars is considered obligatory". [Al-Bashaair Fis-Samaa'-il- Mubaashir] To proceed, The Sunnah came to suppress discord and dissension amongst the Muslims in general and more specifically amongst the Salafis, and this affair is only comprehended by the noble and intelligent ones. As for the ignorant ones, then it is as the noble sheikh Saleh al-fawazan - may Allah protect him - said: "when the jahil enters into a fitnah, the fitnah becomes greater". This is exactly what occurred when the one called (Abu Maryam Ahmed Ali - London) entered upon a fitnah which no one has preceded him in by warning against and boycotting the scholars of Kuwait and the two sheikhs Ahmed Bazmool and Muhammad al-anjari (may Allah preserve them all, direct them to that which is right and make them firm). This individual - due to his ignorance and audacity - has started warning against these scholars and calling others to boycott them. Moreover he treats them like the people of innovation. This individual has been speaking ill of the aforementioned scholars on social media and P a g e 2

3 continues to do so. A bigger catastrophe is that some have even made him an administrator of their groups. The Prophet ﷺ said: "when the power of authority is given to those who do not deserve it, then wait for the Hour" (Bukhari). Upon him is to bring proof and evidence for these claims of his which are devoid of any evidence and merely built upon fabrications. Furthermore, what is strange is that the Allamah Mujahid Imam of Jarh and Tadeel Rabee al-madkhali - may Allah preserve him - has on numerous occasions commended and praised these scholars. Is it not shameful that this ignorant individual and the likes of him strive to cause splitting amongst the Salafis and their Jama'ah?! Shame be upon you that you have left the speech of Imam Rabee who suppressed the fitnah between the Salafis - may Allah reward him. Do you want fame?! This action of his is indicative of the sickness of his heart; him and all those like him. Sheikh-ul-Islam ibn Taymiyyah - may Allah have mercy on him - said: "From the greatest forms of wickedness of the hearts is that there is malice in the heart of the servant against the best of the believers". [Minhaj-ul-Sunnah, 1/22] Imam Rabee advised the Salafis in Britain and in other countries to receive the scholars of Kuwait (Sheikh Muhammad al-anjari). Why therefore all this envy, hatred and malice?! Don't envy them! Indeed honour and high standing is in the Hands of Allah The Most High. He gives them to whomsoever He wills and He humiliates whomsoever He wills. P a g e 3

4 If you are not able to bring forth evidences, then upon you is to repent and seek forgiveness and to abandon the ways and methods of partisanship which lead to splitting between the Salafis. Indeed the door of repentance is open. Likewise apologise for your harm and insults against the scholars and your Salafi brothers and be with the truthful servants of Allah. Sheikh Muhammad Amaan al-jami - may Allah have mercy on him - said: "degrading the scholars of Islam is degrading Islam (itself)". [Qurratul-Uyoonis-Salafiyyah bil-ajwibatil-jaameeyah, p.421] This is further emphasised by the reconciliation between the scholars that took place in the house of Imam Rabee. From amongst those who were present in the house of Imam Rabee were sheikh Muhammad bin Hadi, sheikh Abdullah al-bukhari, sheikh Muhammad al-anjari, sheikh Ahmed Bazmool and others. Ibn Asaakir - may Allah have mercy upon him said: "indeed the flesh of the scholars is poisonous and Allaah s way of exposing those who belittle them is well known. This is because attacking them in matters that they are free from is truly a tremendous matter". [Tabyeen Kadhib Al-Muftaree Fee Maa Nusiba Ilal-Imaam Abil Hasan Al- Ash aree: page 29] He also said: "Whoever speaks ill of the (righteous) scholars, Allaah will put him to trial before he dies by causing his heart to die". [Tabyeen Kadhib al-muftaree, p. 425] P a g e 4

5 Finally, we encourage you all to reflect upon this tremendous Hadeeth: Abud-Dardaa (radyallaahu anhu) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) say: Whoever treads a path due to which he seeks knowledge, Allaah will make him tread one of the paths towards Paradise. And the angels lower their wings out of contentment for the seeker of knowledge. And verily all those in the heavens and in the earth, even the fish in the depths of the sea ask forgiveness for the scholar. And verily, the virtue of the scholar over the worshipper is like the virtue of the moon on a full moon night over all of the stars. Indeed, the scholars are the inheritors of the prophets, for the prophets do not leave behind a dinar or a dirham for inheritance, but rather, they leave behind knowledge. So whoever takes hold of it, has acquired a large share (i.e. of inheritance). (Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah) As we have mentioned before, we at MHbAY will not tolerate anyone who speaks ill of any of our noble scholars.
